I found what I needed and it’s running. It still needs work, and I don't really care for it. I am going to put it in the for sale or trade section.

Make sure you don't run the IF gain all the way up, about 50% seems right on the lower bands.  A lot of criticism came from people who didn't understand what the IF Gain control does.

Note that the manuals were in two separate publications - - the main book and a separate set of details on the pre-assembled front end and oscillator section.
