Sez 'Made in the USA'.

But what to do with mom?  Can't plant her in a casket embossed 'Father'.

Those old fashioned diamond-shaped wooden coffins have a lot more class.

I'll bet the top-dollar funeral directors just love these... Grin

"•Interior dimensions: 23"W x 74"L x 12"H " for $1K - not bad.

But we are so solly sir - if you over 6' tall, it be vely tight fit for all eternity.

Use an "AM Courtesy Filter" to limit transmit audio bandwidth  +-4.5 KHz, +-6.0 KHz or +-8.0 KHz when needed.  Easily done in DSP.

My mother always wanted the plain pine box. When she died unexpectedly (at 76) we all got together and built her one. We couldn't get good pine on short notice, so we built it out of ceder, with rope handles. The funeral director made us sign a waiver, he was afraid it'd fall apart during the service, although it was built better than anything he had.

I won't need one, I'm parts and a med school training body, my wife will get a box of ashes when they're done with me. She'll spend the funeral money on a great party/Irish wake!

I've got a friend that stores blankets and such in her plain pine box until she needs it.

The Jews have an interesting custom of building a box without metal. When we planned my Dad's funeral the director took us to his tacky showroom and left us alone. We goofed on all the weird high performance highly finished metal boxes. Some even came with a handy drawer built in to store the things you take with you. When he came back we told him we liked the simple oak box with no nails.
Same here I told my family cast my ashes with portland into a door stop so I have some useful purpose.

Back in '76, the Byecentennial casket was the rage.... beautiful American flag embroidered on the inside lid.

BTW, cu would be the best fer your beloved ham.  I'm sure you want the best.

LOL! Seeing that reminded me of an incident that happend to me and a shipmate when we were on liberty in Malaga, Spain. The bus had just drop us off at the USO, and we started walking down the street to hit the local bars. We're just trucking along when we found ourselves surrounded by locals all walking in the same direction. It wasn't until I looked up and saw a bunch of them toting a coffin like that on their shoulders. Somehow we got in the middle of somebody's wake. It was a chilling feeling but the drinks were good.  Wink
