Raw and cold here last night, but excellent band condx.  I worked several stations on 7160 late yesterday afternoon.  No QRN on 75 into the evening.  I heard some of the Euro-AMers a little off 3705, but none of the signals were strong enough for a comfortable QSO so I didn't attempt to join them. Instead of on-the-air time, I worked on the remote control unit I am building for the new ganged antenna tuner configuration.

I still haven't finished my outdoor painting project, but warmer temps are predicted within the next few days, so I hope to get back at it then, if only we don't get soaking rain in the meantime.  In that case, I'll probably tack house wrap over the bare wood and let it go till spring, since this time of year, saturated wood would never dry out before the wx goes permanently into winter mode.

When I am done with that for the season,  then I  can start some serious antenna work and hopefully get back on 160. Maybe I'll even get to enjoy doing the work while it is sleeting.

Yes, we do have real winters down here in TN.  Shocked

Going to be heading to the Denver area tommorow.  Looks like I might see some snow there too.

Glad to see that Dave w4qcu is back on the air... I haven't heard him in a while.
