After a few weeks of KAZ testing and some Lankford reading I thought I would simulate a pair of KAZ antennas. I found a 30 foot base 5 feet off the ground with a 20 foot apex worked pretty well 160 through 40 meters. Then a second one mounted about 42 feet behind was added.  Even at 60 degrees the FB is pretty good. Down at 30 degrees I will have to test it to see if it plays as well as the simulation. It looks like it is worth building and playing against the 160 foot beverage.

Thanks for sharing and taking the time to do some field testing. Maybe others will try out in time for radio season......................I KNOW the radio works year round....................but it seems when we make our Daylight Saving waste radio habits change.

Great reading Jay. I need to study this a bunch. Scaling to HF makes for a small antenna that seems to work well.
