I am wokring on cleaning up my SX-25.  Somewhere along the line the output transformer was replaced with a Stancor A-3823 universal.  There are 6 pins on the secondary labeled 1-6.  I know that the 2 P-P 6F6s like 10K on the primary.  I have an 8 ohm speaker on the secondary.  Currently it is connected to pins 1 and 5 but I don;t think that is correct for an 8 ohm speaker.  I know this transformer is PW puny for the 6F6s so if anyone has a transformer with 10K on the primary for P-P and 8 on the secondary, I would be interested in buying/trading some stuff for it.

thanks

Looking at the chart for the Stancor A-3823,  pins 1-5 match 6.95 ohms to 10K p-p primary.   Pins 5-6 match 8.25 ohms to 10K p-p primary.  The A-3823 is rated at 8 watts.

Seems I enter my first post inside your quote.  Lets try this again.

To repeat,

Looking at the chart for the Stancor A-3823,  pins 1-5 match 6.95 ohms to 10K p-p primary.  Pins 5-6 match 8.25 ohms to 10K p-p primary.  The  A-3823 is rated at 8 watts.
