I'm laid up this week recovering from rotator cuff rebuild surgery, and guess what showed up in the mail today. Lucky me.

Walt, this book is a gift. Thank you for writing it, and the way you wrote it.

You know, I've got the background to chug through all the math in the text books and EE classes, but that doesn't mean diddly without that intuitive feel you impart so effectively in this book. Your ability to criticize kindly and firmly at the same time is something we all could learn from, your a Gentleman.

Excellent.

Hello Larry,

I wish you a very speedy recovery from your rotator cuff surgery. I know what you're going through, because XYL Jean had that surgery on both shoulders, and the rehab was MEAN!

But Larry, I sincerely appreciate your kind words concerning Reflections 3. They make it worthwhile to have done the writing. The first seven chapters were written 40 years ago with the thought that they might dispel some of the myths concerning transmission-line operation. Apparently they have, which gave me the incentive to continue the writing.

Thank you Larry, you've made my day!
