It's slow going but coming along.  The open space will be for a solid state after burner.  

The plexi thing is contagious.  Caught it from a neighbor north of me.

Jack, what are you going to use for a microphone?

Looking good jack. I wish I had the time!  Maybe I will order one and put it away until I have some down time!

Also. That is a really nice Yellow Zonker there in that first picture. I have two of those and a new in the box T123B. I have not used them in 10 years but I am sure they work still.

 Being stuck at home I like to do alot at the bench have fun an listen to everything.. Smiley

You'll like the Retro it goes together so easy man Smiley...I'm working out an issue with the relays
and getting it placed one more switch and down comes the board an on goes the case.

Hey Bob plenty of room there it's gona be neat seeing everybodies case build up.. Smiley

I was going to use A G stand D-104 first if that's to much I'm gona try my 897D hand mic.

I've got one of these kits too!  Might be a few more weeks until I have time to put it together. Great idea on using the Johnson case for it. I was a fan of the Benton Harbor Lunch Box case, but I'm having second thoughts about gutting any of mine, though a few are admittedly junkers.

I'm not expecting to make any contacts on mine barefoot either. Wink

My Retro 75 is complete and on the air..I choose a CB cabinet ,the Old Robyn ,  $5 at CB shop...It has regulated PS ,spkr,line cord, fuse ...saves a lot of work...Have had a dozen contacts ,as far as 500 miles...It is truly remarkable..Harold W4PQW
