where did you guys go, I was calling CQ on 7160 about 04:30 Z 11:30 Central time and got nothing.  Parked there and called CQ for about 20 minutes.  I made sure frequency was clear but at some point tuned around on LSB and heard two guys on 7160 giving each other a QSY frequency.  oopsie.  Well I really thought I checked.  These two guys sounded like regular nice guy hams; not the jerks who move in on me.   Zip on 75 meters too.  Sounds like it's gg to be a CW night.   Noise level pretty high here
QRN-wise for AM.  Big storms out in the Dakotas.

...that qwarm on 7170 or so, came on...we went to 7145..i was using a dx60...don was 20/9 here...

The jammer didn't stay on long.  By 0430 GMT they were gone.  All I could hear was the weak broadcast carrier on 7175, with no jamming noise. Radio Ethiopia was clearly audible on 7110.

It was Sunday morning in East Africa.  Maybe on Sundays they don't transmit whatever material the other side in the conflict finds objectionable, since both countries are predominantly Coptic Christian even though there is a significant Islamic population.
