It so happens that my work is sending me to South Korea for about 3 weeks. I am going to try and get a permit so I can operate from my hotel room in Seoul. According to the KARL, it takes about 10 days or so. I'll be using my ft100 and some long wire draped out the window. I am on the 42 story of a 60 story building, so we'll see how well it works.

I was HL9UJ in Pusan about 30 years ago and had a ball.  I still have a few of my local print shop created HL9 QSL cards.

If you're going to be anywhere near a broadcast tower, you're all set after midnight...
Have a rewarding and safe trip, Mike.

Hpe you make it to 40, Mike. Would really enjoy trying to work you. You'll no doubt hear 'JJ and the HUZman on 40 too, running the table.

might be some good SWL music there. different anyway. Be careful what you eat. If it's looking at you (dead or alive) or the tentacles are still moving, politely decline!!

Have fun Mike.  Let us know the details as to time and frequencies and hopefully we will be able to work you.  Beam is currently down, so we will have to go with tuning the center fed Zepp.  Tell your OM, Mr. ZM that you want to make a sked with him on 500 Khz!  I can just hear him now  Smiley
Regards and safe traveling,
