Saw this.  Thought it was funny..  Sounds just like the old Browning rigs that had the PING when you keyed up.

haha them old brownings - I sold mine for $750 a few years ago. They were really good sets, worth every penny for the serious glowbug CBer.

The ping is an evolution of the kerchunk? no, a parallel phenomenon made for a purpose, not a delightful artifact.

Now some guys have sound bite noise toys that make LOUD CLACKing sounds like a BIG relay. 

They key up and CLACK CLACK CLACK.. Then they talk.
