This is great!!! Gotta get me a chrome rope chain and wear this around my neck at hamfests.

Someone from PA sent me some bling bling in da mail. I have no idea who it was, but whoever you are you made my day.   Cool

Now I only have to get the rest of the transmitter.   Tongue

I'll have this thing shined up in no time.

UPDATE: I did not see the little note in the bottom of the box until just now.

It reads:

" Hey Derb, enjoy the RA-250. Here is a emblem from one. I have "some" parts for one if you need anything".

Mike WN3B

Mike, you really did make my day.  Cool U are a kool kat.  Cool

You need to get a big gold TCB bling thing you can put on a chain.  Then you can be Elvis Raytheon.

Actually, that would be a pretty cool name for a rock singer.

That'd make a damn fine belt buckle too.
You could probably get something crafted to hold a leather STRAP on the back of the emblem.

Paul, you may have hit on your ticket to early retirement.  A line of vintage logo belt buckles.  I wonder if this has already been done.   Years ago I had the idea for buying a ton of Elvis stamps and  putting each one in a clear lucite block and someone actually did that and sold them for $20 ea.

Lots of old logos lend themselves to being buckled:  National, Collins, WRL, maybe not Johnson....I'd buy a Collins buckle if it were the early 50s one.

Maybe if you wore it with the buckle round in back ?

I dunno, there's a certain bling-bling quality to having one of these on a belt buckle. Like the kids who were stealing Mercedes hood ornaments and making necklaces out of them.

Still, might make a dandy mic flag, like the old metal plates with the station call letters ?

Get someone like Bob KBW to croak out a 3BA bumper to play at the top of the hour.

This radio transmission brought to you by RAYTHEON !

I've got a metal plate that I plan to mount on the suspension cage of the RE-27 some day.

This proprints store on Ebay has all of our favorite Vintage logos on t-shirts, mouse pads and caps.
I bought an Eimac and a Johnson Viking t-shirt from him to wear at hamfests and just hanging out at the coffee shops.  Good quality and prices...

I bet if you don't see a logo you would want like RCA or Raytheon, he could do it if you provide the graphic.

I updated the first post - just found a note in the box.

Wifey says I should get a clock and put it on the clock like Flavor Flav.

I sold a Pioneer "Supertuner" lightning bolt logo belt buckle on epay for $115. I'm keeping the old fashioned GE "88" style one. Might have to let it go due to the gut, but it could make a fine bit of bling for a rifle sling.

Derb I am glad Mike sent the RayBling to you, y'all are good men, I don't care what all these other guys say. How big is that thing anyway? Looks huge compared to the box.
