Horse for sale or trade - $100 (Gerrardstown, WV)
14 year old gelding. Healthy. Used to lead kids around.
Not good around goats (not that he's mean, he just don't think nothing about stepping on them).
Will trade for cash, hay or goats/sheep.

I remember driving past a scrapyard in Martinsburg - a sign out front read (sic) " TAR'S 4 SALI think they were trying to sell used tires.

Driving home from college in Mississippi there was a sign about 30 miles from the coast, "Cold Beer Rat'chere" It translates to cold beer right here.
Interpreting that sign and trying to read the sign for the Tchoutacabouffa river bridge probably caused a number of tourist accidents.

Unfortunately, this type of grammar and spelling is becoming all too common everywhere.

Good point about horrific grammar, but so it always was. Most of the country is 'up a holler' or 'over the hill, out a'ways.' Them's proud people that live there a'bouts. I dast reckon that proper Scots speak their minds so regardless. One of the beauties of the English language is that it's so versatile and changable. -'Broken spoken by aspiring races everywhere.' Superior intelligencia live only in 'thin rivers of the annointed' radiating outward from major overpopulated warrens, the centers of which harbor English Language speakers far more horrific. The county by county election returns of 2000 pretty well illustrate this far better than just about any directed mapping. Those believing themselves superior also have trouble differentiating between the King's English and being 'King.' Even out here in the country my English teachers over the years tried very hard to instill proper diction, syntax, writing and speech. Yes, they'd be agast at some of the language used today. I can remember being lectured on using 'like' for 'similar.' .. and that was a mild rebuke. Imagine being an English teacher in today's world of valley speak, HBS speak, upward inflection at end of sentences, gravel speak at sentence endings...

female voices on AM are FB. There is nothing worse sounding than a female on slopbucket. 90% of the time I cant understand them, but even if I can, it's so high pitched I cant stand it for long. this is anti slopbucket, not anti female. All females belong on AM with Rico Suave and Uncle Ray.

Only the 4 boys from Liverpool could pull off an upward inflection with class. ( They never stepped on a goat without guilt to my knowledge either. ) * maybe guilty goats NEED to be stepped on, like totally.
