Mr. Sluggo  sounded like a wonderful friend.   My sincere condolences.

I have two "boys" here,  Merlin  and Indy.  I have had two prior to these and had to put them both down at age 20.   I like to keep my cats for as  long as I can, and pamper and take the best care of them. They don't go outside.  Today, Merlin is almost 16, and  Indy  almost 13.   Not having any children of my own, they are my children.

Sorry to hear about that big black cat.

I am lucky that my cats think about as much about the ham gear as the XYL and they leave it alone. No HV incidents so far. Shaving is another story.
