The first oil change of my 2001 Silverado I looked up at the 5.3 block and saw main cap bolts coming out the side. I was happy.  Most of my gear head stuff is gone. Lost interest. I made the mistake of building my last motor slower than the one before it. At the time I was worried about gas quality. It ran fine but didn't do much for me.

It's been so long I can't remember, but digging up a post from FIVE YEARS AGO to post a "response"? If nothing else, it's more evidence in favor of locking posts after X numbers of months. It could help stimulate imaginations again and encourage New posts, even!   Roll Eyes

Looks like it belongs more in the QSO section than the Tech forum, too.
