Band conditions from gray line until eleven PM, awesome! With the help of Sam/KS2AM and Tom/K1JJ I was able to work quite a few AM stations nationwide. Here is a list.

Gray line, Detroit

W7IUC Philadelphia, TN
W6PSS Dave, Ramona, CA
KS2AM Sam, Red Banks, NJ

Later

K1JJ Tom, Marlborough, CT
W1EUI Jack, Salem, NH
KD7HH Roger, Worland, WY 5/9-20 over
W0EFJ Brian, Waseca, MN
KC2LXD Rod, Valley Stream, NY
N7UA Bob, Poulsbow, WA Awesome signal
K7RLD John, Bellevue, WA
W9UD Jim, Moline IL
K1ETP Rich, Milford, MA
WA1QIX Steve, Townsend, MA (heard, not worked)
W7HB Bill, Spring Lake UT (heard, not worked)
KE7TRP Clark, Chandler, AZ (not confirmed)

Thanks to Sam in Red Banks for giving me a chance to work PSS before the gray line conditions collapsed and Tom K1JJ for arm twisting the western stations into listening for me  Grin

There was an apparent 2400 mile pipeline between Red Bank, NJ and Ramona, CA that evening. Dave peaked at 30 over at one point and we were copying each other for around 30 minutes.
Perhaps it was my powerful 25 watt carrier ?      Wink
