I had forgotten about a short saltwater rod and a Penn fishing reel I had stored away that had several hundred feet of 50 # test dacron line on it. I found it and I'm hoping I can cast a few ounces of weight up about 50 ft in a few days. I just ordered 500 ft of dacron rope and some 14 gauge hard drawn copper + a pulley to install the permanent antenna with and it should all be here in 2 or 3 days.

Wifey goes into work today so I get the whole day to myself to work on things.  Cool

Very Cool.  I use a similar rig here with FB results.  Good luck and hope you don't launch any weights!!!

Good casting, Derb!

I have a few 3/4"x16 hex nuts hanging from 30lb test in the trees around here.
I catch a glimps of'em in the sunlight every once in a while. Very cool!
