The 2009 tube shoot is history...Lots of shooting, a little gunsmithing, interesting targets, Am operation on 20, 75, and 160 meters,Plenty to eat, lots of beverages, (including the antenna variety) and 2 anvil firings....We had a lite snow on Saturday and the temperature stayed around freezing all weekend. 11 AM hams from the Pacific Northwest and 1 from Arizona...A great time was had by all....See the pics at W7JHS website, click on 2009 tubeshoot

This is probably an event you'd want to practice at home for, first.

Somehow it was better not to see pictures of the "victims."

Damn, I missed it.  I have some brand new in the box, US-made, 833A's, 304TL's, 250TH's, 100TH's, 204A's, 813's, 805's, 4-1000's and 572B's I would have contributed to the cause.

The 572Bs and the 100THs would have been great out at 200 yards the bigger stuff would have had to been set up the hill out at 275 yards.   Grin
All in all it was another great PNW (correct coast) AM event.
