This is my new project. It was a PYE TVA-528 base station on about 100Mhz.
The new power supply filter caps have to go in above the power tranny and the 3 tube sockets along the bottom have to be removed along with the xtal holder. They were the osc, multiplier and driver (5763). I have already removed the final (6/40).
The audio tube lineup is - EF86, 6GW8 and 2 x 5/40 (6146's).

The osc, driver and PA stage will go on the new RF deck. It will be xtal locked on 160, 80 & 40M. I intend to use the 6/40 as the final with the plates and grids in parallel so I don't have to make any mods to the power supply.

Any comments or suggestions welcomed.

Bob
