Gentlemen:

I'm looking for specs on Bud 5-pin plug-in coils, specifically the "OEL" model.

My 1952 Allied catalog tells me that the JEL is a "75 watt 860 volt Junior" with an end link, and that the MEL is the "25 watt Baby" with an end link, but I have found no data on the OEL.  It's an end-link version, but what are the electrical ratings?

If you can tell me, or point me toward some old catalog data, I'll appreciate either.

Tnx es 73.

The Bud ad in the 1952 ARRL Handbook lists the OEL as a 75 watt transmitter coil. Also, "coils have fixed end link and are not tapped". They also have the capacity needed for resonance listed:
80 meters   75 mmfd *
40             52
20             40
15             30
10             25
6               17

*"Denotes tube plus circuit plus tank plus output coupling capacity required to resonate coil at low frequency end of band." No voltage listed in the ad.

  Hope this helps......Bill
