Very intersanting. I'm going out of town for a few days, thunderstorms are forecast, and I can (a) disconnect the antenna lead in, or (b) ground the antenna lead in at the tuner. I was wondering what the conventional wisdom on this subject was. In the past, I've always just disconnected.

There must have been some local damage the power was off for 4 hours during the night.
