5 AM?  Where did that come from?  Maybe it was 5 am UTC.  Anyway... where are people operating AM during the day?  Any 20m or 15m monitoring?

No, 5 AM local EU time (London) or 6 AM (on the continent).  They have DST too.  Smiley

I used to get up a 5 AM to ham it up in my JN days.  I'm not that motivated these days.

Sorry, guess I should explain.  I saw the timestamp on the original post of 12:07 AM EDT, which means it was 5:07 AM London time when they were looking to contact EU's.

Exactly. It was actually 0600 in London and 0700 on the Continent  - hardly early for the early risers. The band was full of EU stations on SSB. Do all the AMers sleep late? No, can't be since F6AQK and others are on 3705 at 0500Z almost every morning.

I beg to differ.  There is a 5 hour difference between EDT and London "Summer Time".

That's what I meant. Either way, there were plenty of EU stations on the air at that time. Just no AMers, apparently.

Don't meant to ba a PITA, but 0000 + 5 = 0500, not 0600.  Huh

Anyway, eventually you will drum up some EU AM'ers. Good luck HUZ.  Smiley
