Yes - the big boy works great. But Had to order a couple new modulator tubes from RF Parts (18.00 +). Changed out the paper caps (3). But - now where is the 6AU6 VFO tube? - lots of wrong stuff in the 350 manual, including the circuit diagram. Well, I think its under all that aluminum box stuff behind the VFO dial. Now the problem of how to change out the 6AU6 VFO tube - Do I remove all of those tiny screws
(about 15) from the top aluminum box and slide the top box out (away from the bottom aluminum box) ? The reasom I'm asking is the smaller top box has been soldered (or brazed) on the left hand side, to the bottom aluminum box.
Can't believe they would put a VFO tube under all of that metal and expect somebody to check it out every now and then.
Any input? Thanks - Mac - W6FCS

Yes it is under the box.  You are lucky if screws are all that hold it.  Mine did not have any screws but was soldered in place.  There were no holes for screws in the lip.
