This thing goes in an 8800W diesel genset made in 1985. The device is a stud mounted bridge rectivier fromVaro with the number R642S-1 I can't find anything on it. The set is down and we have no electricity at the remote shop. Does anyone have an old book they could check please?

The second item- there are 30 of these in a 3-phase 10KV 1.5A power supply - They are chassis-mount brick-type single diode rectifiers and have "MQSI" and "VC80" printed on them. 1990 vintage. Might be good candidates for the 3-diode negative peak limiter; I'd really like to try it.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Patrick,
I cant help you with the first one, but the second one (VC80) is what I have in my 4x1 transmitter. They are very conservatively rated at 1.4A @ 8KV piv.

Goodie!!! I got the whole double-stack slabs of red phenolic? board including bleeders and HV cap for $100. It's a 3 phase bridge, then rated at 40KV per leg.  Thanks much!!

Cap is a 1uF 15KV. + 10 pcs 100K 75W resistors.

This is out of that 4CX15000 power supply 'rack' I found, and another guy bought it before I could get it. Someone already bought the tube, which tested low on power, no questions asked as a core for $300.

We are going to test the transformer and see what it does on 240V single phase. The secondary of the transfotmer is wye connected, so I do not know what this thing will be good for. Maybe too much voltage? The rating is 0-15KV/1.5A DC on the machine, we found out.
