The first thing a visitor sees upon entering the foyer of W1AW these days is the big roll-top desk of Hiram Percy Maxim.  It was donated by Frances Beekley Haviland, daughter of F. Cheney Beekley, former advertising manager of QST, June 13, 2008.  A vintage a.m. ham station sits upon it.

We need a picture of this.

I wonder how long it'll be before someone is told to "get rid of that crap in the foyer", as was apparently done with the old ARRL museum.
