My first Heathkit that I built was the HD-11(?) Q-multiplier, a Christmas present in 1965 at age 13 (pre-novice) to use with my E H Scott SLRM.

Last Heathkit built was the memory keyer with the touch paddles.  Built in 1982 around the time that son Ben (now 27) was born.  The three little round hearing aid type batteries that keep the message memory alive were stated to have an expected life span of about three years.  They must have nine lives - have never had to change  them!

Of course there have been many Heathkits bought from others over the years - my original DX-4 and VF-1, Apache, SB line, including the SB200 linear, Cheyenne and Comanche, replacement DX-40 and VF-1, and on and on...!!!
