Its been a long winter with the truck, hydraulic and crane schools. As it stands now I haven't been able to find a school that take GI bill benefits for my last endorsement on cranes (lattice); as a result I may have to wait till after June to head out to Phoenix as the school is applying for the registry of approved schools. Apparently required before the VA can accept them as an approved school.

In the mean time I will hopefully pass my written and practical CCO (certified crane operator) exams next week. Ironically, I got a job offer last week to operate a 150 ton Manitowic lattice machine. Sadly I had to turn down the offer till I get my endorsement.

I had a nice chat with Dudley W5DUD in Houston, TX. Turns out Dudley owns a crane company. Nice to get some insite into the business (Thanks Skip)

I am taking a break from the books and have fired up the wireless. Good for the soul minus some stupid contest that's on.

See YA on the Air!!
