Last night was some great conditions, the static level was almost non-existent on the meter, and the signals were strong! Stayed on from about 6:00Pm 'till nearly 01:00 this morning, I am looking forward to a lot more days like last night.

It was great talking to some old friends last night as well as making some new acquaintances.

Don't wanna see the white stuff per say, but, some cooler weather and quieter conditions that will follow will be welcome.

Yup
I was cruising 80 AND 160 with my new R390A/SoftRock lite using the FlexRadio software. All of these high dollar radio/modern features now!! Whew!! The synch detector ( SAM ) saved me $600. Don't have to buy that expensive SE-3!!!
Static was very low on 160M and some QSO's.
80M sounded like it wanted to go long. This was 10:50PM EDT. There was the usual key-ups and someone trying to send pictures near 3885 but the AM QSO was good and strong ships sailing out there.

I listened about 0400 GMT and it was pretty noisy here.
