I've been messing around with designing a new QSL card for a while now.
I finally got it done.
I did it using AutoCad 2002, I printed it and then scanned it using my new
do everything printer/scanner/copier/fax machine, Epson CX 9400F.
It does everything but rub my back and talk dirty to me...

Here's a link to a page with a photo of the QSL.

Nice design, Ron.
But speaking of QSL cards, does anyone know where I can order QSL's made in the USA that are available on heavy card stock? I used to get mine through the Little Print Shop but they've gone under. I want to design an AM QSL on heavy card stock.

nice card...might want to check the "standard" size/dimensions/aspect ratio for QSL cards? At least on my screen it looks like it might be different than the usual QSL card - or maybe it is an optical illusion and it is ok??

It might not be "standard" size, what ever that is. Huh
I used Avery textured postcard stock that I could feed through my printer. They measure 4 1/4 X 5 1/2.
I never cared much for someone else's imposed "standards".
In my collection of vintage QSL cards the sizes were all over the place.
I was trying to make a vintage looking card, the textured light tan colored
card stock looks just right.

Great card! not all are standard size, but it's best when asking someone for a SASE.

haha I sent my card to a guy and he sent back an 8.5x11 monochrome inkjet document!! I was rather shocked, but glad to have it anyway.

I like teh "semi-ARRL official" 1920's cards. the red ink overprint for the call over the detailed print so the call would show up super good in a B& W photo.

that actually was a standard for over 10 years.

I have had "vintage" style QSL cards made up specifically for AM and boatanchor CW use.  They were made by W4MPY, "The QSL Man" and by Dennis Livesay, VE7DK.  I prefer Dennis' work.
Here are some samples...
The first group of QSL's are from  Dennis Livesay, VE7DK...
