Hi Tim,
I'm trying to hold my head up here................geesh that was a nice complement. I heard these 30 over signals and had to jump in!! It was a real fast change of the EQ to make a modification from the normal settings for the Raytheon (RA250.....hi Jay) It's a bassy sounding TX and I have been getting reports that it was hard to understand what I was saying under noisy conditions.
Too bad you had to leave the group. You were 40 over into Western PA.
Around 10PM the noise was increasing and there was some nasty tuner-uppers and heavy man-made trash that I could SEE on my soft-rock lite recv, but could not hear..........The beauty of SDR. It turned my R390A into an all bells and whistles $10K radio.
I'll try to get into the Ham shack more often. It was a very nice group on 1880.
