Hi!
I am searching for tech. info. on a couple of old obscure tubes:

CWL 327-A.   Also known as CV2618; 5C37

15-R.             Also known as CV934; 4B30; 8022

Both are 'JAN' types; believe orig. manufac. = RCA

Anyone here who can help me, please?

Thanks.

I've never posted anything here before, so I'm not sure I'm doing this right.

But here are a couple of links for these tubes. Not much info at these sites, but a little at leaset

They are radar tubes from wwii era. The 327a was used in SC-2 shipboard radars. I found quite a few links googling for SC-2 including some manuals for operating these sytems. Perhaps you can find something in one of those.

The 327A looks very much like a VT-127-A, basically a 100W triode that had specs very close, if not identical to a 100TL.
It's the same basic shape as the original VHF tube, the "DeForest" model H, but perfected in may ways over the original DeForest tube that was introduced in 1926.

The Eimac 15R looks like a little "Lost in Space Robot", if you remember that TV show from the 1960's. If you can't locate the specs on it, please let me know since I may have them around here somewhere. I believe it has a 15W plate dissipation, but can make a lot more power in pulse modulated service.

The 8022 is something very different than a conventional glass triode, and  is similar to a 4CX250 ceramic tetrode. Whilst looking up specs, please bear that in mind. Most, if not all 8022's were made by RCA

Hope this helps and best regards.
