Early Sound Cinematography Links posted.

I just posted the links on the Audio section of the Online AM handbook.  The site includes manuals for motion picture sound systems dating back to the late 20's and early 30's.  Besides the historical interest these publications may evoke, they contain a treasure trove of useful data on the subject of vacuum tube audio and sound reproduction.

Bill, KC2IFR and I certainly remember the joy of movie projection equipment and the challenges of having a nice clean sounding optical track from the 35mm film days. It took a good ear to focus and align the exciter lamp for the sound head for more high end. I think optical sound was only good for 10khz.
Oh yea, the carbon arc lamp house was fun too. Projectionists do not exist anymore. The manager of the multi cinema movie house flips a switch and the machines run themselves. Xenon bulbs rule now.
