Apparently this morning around 7:00am the backbone of the managed server systems over at the hosting company broke and well - -- - we had 11 hours, 13 minutes, and 32 seconds of  - - nothing!!

Fortunately it was not on our side but there was nothing we could do but wait for the fix.

This was the first real downtime we have had in over three years.

Sorry for any inconvenience the outage may have caused.

Actually, Gary, I thought it was a subtle reminder to all of us what could happen if we don't kick in some $$ to help you pay for the costs of running this site.

I'll be sending something along this weekend even if that turned out not to be the reason for the crap-out ...

Thanks for the plug Paul but rest assured I would never let the site drop on account of $$$$.

P.S. The post "sorry" from Blaine, that is not our server just some good humor.
