My wife received the most amazing phone call this morning.

The nice folks who ran the Belvedere Hamfest on Saturday wanted to know where they should send her $500 Grand Prize check.

This was particularly funny in light of all the whining she did about the $10 entrance fees.  No complaint about all the money I spent but the fees really bugged her.

I said how nice that she nearly covered all the money I spent but she said, "no way honey, just wait till you see the beads I am going to buy".

She can't wait for the next one.

wow i had to read that a few times.
the first time i read that i thought it was a five hundred grand ...... prize check.
thats quiet a hamfest prize lol
