I am building a Navy WW2 - Korean era vintage radio operators position for a
local museum. This museum is at the site of where Thomas Watson built WW1
destroyers in Braintree, MA. Our radio club, K1USN, now calls this site our home.
Our web site is:
http://k1usn.org/Above is the display I have made so far with more work to do. I figure it is better
to have this at a museum where more people will see it and where new hams who
have never tuned a transmitter and zero beated it to a received signal will have a chance to do it.
Anyway my problem is that to make it more realistic I need a "radio watch log sheet" for the mill.
I was a radioman myself many years ago and I remember having a column where times were entered, another freqs, and another callsigns, and often in the rightmost column I would just type "no sigs" or whatever I heard.
Anybody have a copy of an RM3&2 with a sample of this log or does anyone remember?
Incase your wondering there is a TCS 12 receiver/xmtr set in this display, a RBL-2, and a RAO-2 rcvr.
Best Regards
