Can someone clue me in to how to position the two variable caps in relation to the knobs?

Thanks

Sure Rich,

If the knobs are removed you will have to see the caps inside. Mesh the caps to 1/2 and place the knobs at 1/2 of the scale. Tighten them down and your home free. By the way, I personally prefer using the match box relay as it was originally intended. It is a simple work of art and it will last a lifetime or two.

output cap is easier set at 1/2 scale since each end is fully meshed on one set of stators.
