So that's what the bottom of a Dixie 100 mod tranny looks like. Nice job on the harmonically-balanced oxygen-free teflon wire you spliced onto the old leads. The pass-thru hole seems a mite ragged. And those gouges in the work surface look like possums were using it for a dance floor.

A big possum DOES use it as a dance floor! At least he was dancing his way outta my yard after I fired numerous rounds from my softair pistol over his head...

Thats a cardboard cover on the bottom there...

That wire WAS darn expensive!!! Ten cents a foot from orchard supply hardware... highway robbery!
