For a story of a different time capsule, read Brian, W5AMI's account of the Bartlesville Kilowatt.

That was definately another cool "time capsule" story. I can only imagine the excitement that Brian felt when he opened the door on that building for the first time!!

Or the one about 'Grandpa's Radio' that Mike 'BAC wrote for ER. Not quite as old, but very interesting none-the-less. A room full of gear including a Collins 30K and other associated equipment sitting untouched since 1960-61? Cool!  Cheesy

Well, the website now says the population guesses have all been tabulated. The winner of the Belvedere is a man named R. E. Humbertson who was born in Cumberland, MD on 7/8/1921. He is instructed to call the Trust department at the Bank of Oklahoma.  I wonder is this could be a relative of our own Dave, W3NP? Anybody in contact with Dave lately?

Dave W3NP is S.O.L. on this one. Turns out that R.E. Humbertson died in 1979, but his heirs have already been located.  It seems that Humbertsons are not in short supply in that region.
