G has gotten a bunch of photos posted of the event, on the NEAR-Fest forum:

http://near-fest.com/

Look under Photo Galleries on the left.

Here's a sample from MrMike's gallery, a shot of the group who closed down the fair grounds. We enjoyed a nice, quiet dinner in a little Italian place nearby. Despite being dead on our feet, the food was great. We even had an accordion player. Joe had to travel to Long Island afterwards, taking the long way around since the ferry had closed. G had the furthest to go: Syracuse

Ask Tim sometime about his merlot...  Wink

So, how many people attended?  There seems like there was plenty to see but down from the days when it took most of a day to see everything once. I thougt it was a nice size.

The Dude with the Squeeze box is Carmen. He walks around the restaurant and plays music. Excellent Italian food and atmosphere.  3 minutes from the fairgrounds.

In the pix Jim from left to right:

Todd KA1KAQ, Joe WA2PJP, Gary W2INR, Tim WA1HLR and  Mr MIke W1RC.

The empty plate was Veal Parmesan
