Now that we have stirred up enough interest under the "Expensive Appliance" thread we can work out the "rules" on the air and here on the Forum. I will be visiting the Slab Bacon next week for a super sordid secret meeting and discussion of the dark dastardly details.
So far we have several good ideas (more to come)for:
Categories
Claiming rule
Project sources

for further development:
prize--award venue
contest name
judge(s)
time limit
etc.

Like many cheap dates it was overheated, put away wet and ignored after it was over with.

Looks to me like an old  BC-191/375 frame...

Wish I had the 10, and 211's that were in it...

By not allowing previous conquests, the rules put me at a distinct disadvantage since I'm moving and can't accumulate more stuff. Therefore, I demand you not discriminate and instead follow in the footsteps of Affirmative Action and slant the table in my favor, regardless of qualifications or blown mod iron. I want to WIN as badly as any corntester, in hopes of of gaining the glory and prestige associated with the prize, certificate, and bragging rights.

Barring that, I'll settle for seeing what others come up with and expect nothing less than exceptional creativity from all participants. Something along the lines of  'Five dollars and a handful of junkbox parts', even. Wink
