We all know that some folks can tell ahead of time when a storm is coming.

My question is: How far ahead of a storm does your body begin to react with "arthritis" symptoms? 8 hours/12/24/36/48 etc ?

I have a 4 inch scar on my leg from 2 operations to repair tissue from hitting a tree with a sled as a kid.
When it itches I know a good one is comming in a day or so. It didn't itch yesterday so was not surprised to see an inch on the ground this morning.
Yesterday morning the weather orgasmaters were claiming 18 inches so I knew it might be 4 to 6.

About a 1 to 2 days for my left knee.  Right knee is a different story.  It can pain me for no reason at all for any length of time.  There's no rhyme or reason to it.  Exercise will help it though.

12 hours before today's storm hit my somewhat arthritic knuckles acted up, and one previously badly injured ankle started giving me crap. oddly though i checked the barometer at that time and it was still quite high, and did not drop until this afternoon.

bill,
My right hip usually lets me know 24-36 hours before a nasty one is gonna hit. However this may sound wierd, but it stops hurting when the storm arrives!! Go figger!! thank God for Celebrix!!
