Forget the DX window. You would be better off lower.

I follow the practice of not operating AM within 10kcs either side of the DX window.

Many DXe'sr are working stations at the noise floor and even a little sibilance 10 kc out from any signal could kill the contact.




Paul here are the freqs Henk gave us.

In The Netherlands we use 3705 for AM mode.
The U.K. AM stations using 3615.
The French stations using for AM 3550.
Mostly every morning AM on 3550 khz.
Saturdaymornings AM on 3615.
Sundaymornings AM round on 3705.
