Does anyone recognize the receiver in the attached photo?  Any idea as to its manufacturer and model?

Thanks - Dave NE4AM

that's an RME-45, about late 40's or so. i have one up at my camp in the Adirondacks. a real sleeper of a radio- very stable and quiet, good crystal filter, and excellent audio with basic mods including inverse feedback. about 8KC wide with the crystal off. one of my favorites even though i have quite a large collection of receivers. after a second re-cap (had mine 25 years), and replacing all the resistors and most mica caps last year it really works great. enjoy it- it's a nice box!

A question I've always had about the RME-45.  How did the bandspread work?  I see two concentric knobs that looks like the tuning.  Was one the bandspread?

The ham that got me started had one when I first met him, but had traded it for an SX-111 very soon after that so I never got a chance to get to know the '45.
