To Heil, eliminating extraneous processing and relying purely on sound sources and complimentary microphones is a key component to great-sounding recordings and live performances.

I used his microphones for a band and they can't get over them.   My son outlaw  plays tenor in a band with a lot of stuff -- 3 saxes, 2 trumpets, bass trombone, trombone, keyboards, drums, guitar, bass, female vocalist and probably some stuff I've forgotten.

I swapped out Shure SM-58's and 57's, for PR-20's on vocals PR-40 on the trombones, PR-30 for the trumpets.     The saxes are wireless so I left them alone, although the baritone sax would sound better on a PR-30 or PR-40.  I'm not a sound guy but I figured what the heck.

The biggest differences were the female vocalist went from the normal live metallic sound we're all used to over to a positively luscious sound and the low brass now come through spectacularly on the bigger Heils.

Incidentally, this band is a bunch of geeks.   That beautiful blond lead singer is an EE.   In fact, most of the band has engineering degrees and does high-tech stuff for day jobs.
