Did you notice a little bit of the Tralala song, our anthem, in the Olympic games opening ceremony? It was just before the speeches. I sang along. I imagine many of you did as well.

Must have missed it but I was really stirred by their National Anthem, viscerally took me back to my younger years of the big bear's nukes hanging over our heads.

Shades of the "International." Sp?  Thought we were back in the old USSR (CCCP, heh, heh). Much of the modern anthem sounds just like the old one.  The Bear is back.

 The Bear is back.
I believe that's exactly the point Putin is trying to make.

Use an "AM Courtesy Filter" to limit transmit audio bandwidth  +-4.5 KHz, +-6.0 KHz or +-8.0 KHz when needed.  Easily done in DSP.

I don't know 'boute you guys, I listen to it every day -- It helps me time my shower so I don't waste too much time. And then I use Irbs "Battle him of the re publick"  when I brush my teeth.

perfectly normal! Consider the present games as a whole and it fits right in with everything else. Different culture, just embrace the diversity.
