That's one serious room you got there.

And you really packed a lot of gear efficiently into the space available, yet, you can still operate it comfortably.

Nice man-cave, indeed

Is that RCA up on 160 or whereabouts?

And is that Harris/Gates board a "Producer" model, if I recall right ?

How do you keep your place so neat and uncluttered?  I can clean my place up and have everything laid out nice, neat, with every item in its proper place, but within hours into the next construction project the whole place once again looks like it was struck by a tornado.

Yeah man, this might be the "radio parlour" where visitors come calling.

Wear your best radio outfit, comb your hair, etc.

Roy, that's a beautiful station! Unfortunately, as I was enjoying the video in full-screen, my wife walked up behind me and noticed how clean and shiny all your stuff is. She has lots of ideas now about how my "man-cave" should look. This could be serious...

:O)

Hay Rob, Are you beta testing the new Flex-7000? I heard rumors of it on the Flex Radio reflector but your avatar is the first glimpse I've had. Roll Eyes Neat new power control!

To answer a few questions:  The RCA is set up to cover 160, 80, and 40.  It stays on 160 most of the time.

Don, everytime I have a project, the place gets really cluttered but as soon as the project is complete, everything gets picked up and put away.  It's really not that clean, it just photographs that way.  This video is a little out of date, as some things have changed.

Yes, the audio console is a Gates Producer.  It had a cold solder joint when I found it that caused distortion.

Roy,

Having talked to you and listened to you much more, now I know why your signal sounds so good.

Very nice station.
