I want buy some baluns and resistor on buxcomm ,its safe ?

and sometime i see buxcomm.com website change name packetradio.com and hamradioexpress.com

Caveat emptor! I bought a folded dipole from them. After about 4 months the SWR went off-scale and I took it down for inspection. Couldn't find anything obviously wrong, so I opened the PVC pipe housing over the 'balun'. It was ferrite beads over the coax and had been shoved into pipe that was too small. The coax had deformed and shorted out. I'll never buy from them again.

In my fairly brief fling with packet radio 6 or 7 years ago I got an adapter cord from them that went between my 2m FM rig and a 9 pin serial port on the TNC.  Worked okay.
