I can't wait till tomorrow to squat on 7290 and yell "CQ Contest" all day long.

My only regret is that after about 3 hours of futzing, I can not make my 810 talk on 20.  So it will be 40, 80 and 160 in that order.

I will also be streaming live video and audio for those who can not participate directly.

I probably will not send in a log because I hate contests or am just too lazy.

Good luck in the contest,

I have the unfortunate situation of having to work this weekend.  I'm working now in fact until 7am Central, then I'll have a couple of hours before I have to sleep.  I would love to try to work some 40 meter AM before I roll into bed!

I'll check 7.160 and .280 through .295 !! Be there or be Square!

Greetings Jack!  Rather than yell "CQ Contest",  you might better yell "CQ AM Transmitter Rally" and you will make more contacts.  Like you, I suppose most AMers hate contests too.  Keep those positive modulation peaks above 120%, and let your homebrew rig be heard.

My brother, W2M, had limited time available today, but we did make a QSO W2M to W8K before he left.  Before we finished, another AM station, W0ENE joined us at 3650 KHz.  75 is fading out, so I will move up to 40.  I heard several other AM stations on 75 talking about Heavy Metal Weekend, but none mentioned the AM Transmitter Rally.  Is another special AM event underway this weekend?

My smart?phone voicetext screws up homophones, but they are crystal clear from my 75 meter plate-modulated AM transmitter

No joy on 3858 and no contesters hear anywhere on 80 meters.

In for coffee will try 40.
