He bought an HT-32B from me once and some Heathkit box (don't remember what). He's been around for years. I believe there was a thread (or post)  somewhere on the forum back a few months ago. I remember I commented and posted a link to his web site with the aisles and aisles of boatanchor equipment.

Hal, the owner of Land Air Communications, hangs out on a local L.I. repeater (W2VL, 146.85) and has done repair work for some of the repeater club members. They seem pleased with him and his work.

I bought a defective modulation transformer from Land Air Commo for an AF-67....He denied that such a thing could happen. I told him I learned a valuable lesson and moved on.

Used Hal to repair a  yaesu ft901 and ft 101 and did great job and price was fair
