Well after a year of little progress the E Class rig is in it's final stages of completion.

At this stage in the project I have been putting all the parts and pieces together for the final install. I will have completed everything up to the RF deck in about a week . The RF deck will need to be built and I hope to have that finished sometime in February for a virgin transmission sometime in late feb or early March depending on time available..

The panels for the Powers supply vault and modultor and conrtol have the base coat on them and I still need to label the panels and clear coat them.

I am glad I held off as I decided to make this rig which was originally thought to be a 75 meter rig my 160 transmitter last week.

You can check out the progress in the Photo Galleries under my call in the Class E project album.  http://amfone.net/Gallery2

The date stamp in my camera is not correct , Thanks for pointing that out. Several of the photos marked "new" were taken Sunday morning.

G,

Looks pretty conservative, but do you think it can handle the normal 95% duty cycle of 160M? ..... Grin Grin

Use an "AM Courtesy Filter" to limit transmit audio bandwidth  +-4.5 KHz, +-6.0 KHz or +-8.0 KHz when needed.  Easily done in DSP.

Hey John,
We will sign him up for the gray hair net and see if it can do 95%.
No 3 round burst the whole clip.
