Stu's previous call was K2OA.

I just found the obituary. Service was today already. I met Stu many decades ago through the Antique Wireless Association. He was quite the gentleman. There might be a more detailed obituary coming, not sure.

Service Information: A service will be held on March 31, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1400 Route 52, Fishkill, New York.

Stokrocki and Jennifer Laudiero (Frank); three grandchildren, Trista Wilson, Dana Stokrocki, and Nicholas Stokrocki; and six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Sandra Mount, and his parents, Oscar and Mary Mount.

Career & Hobbies: He retired from IBM and later worked at St. Augustine's School in Highland, New York. He was an avid amateur radio operator with an Extra Class License and played the mandolin for the Riverbank Banjo Band.

Lost a friend a few years back here also. Cliff was WA2GHL(Pomona NY) in his picture album, he also shows WN2GHL(Pomona NY), from 1976-77, etc... I knew him as Cliff, N5CSJ Oklahoma. He was 99% CW with some SSB, He tried very hard to get me into SSB, saying to me, if he did'nt get me into SSB I would just stay in tube AM forever...Well... I do have "some" SSB now...He was from NY and I have his picture albums of field days etc. He told me about sitting in restaurants with friends talking only in conversations all in DIT-DAH's,  no words only CW conversations, he said they got some strange looks from other people... funny.
